Need For Speed: Salt Lake

Apparently I’m a huge threat to society and recklessly endanger the entire human race with my driving skills. Some of you may laugh about that, but the particularly dangerous and horrific thing I did today to win a ticket was to turn right at an intersection with a yellow light.

For this incredibly hazardous lapse in judgement I was tailed by a highway patrol vehicle for over a block while I watched him furiously typing away on his computer looking for some way to handle the great menace. Apparently he found it and was panicked by the fact that I was now turning on to a freeway onramp. Halfway to the freeway, in the middle of rush hour, the lights come on. He cautiously approaches the car and explains with a furrowed brow, that I had, “come around that corner really quick. It’s a good thing no one else was there otherwise you could have caused a really serious accident.”

*blink*

You know, Barney Fife, you are completely right. Had oncoming traffic not been sitting PARKED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION AT A RED LIGHT, WE ALL COULD HAVE DIED IN AN EPIC INFERNO.
