Oh lovey, emotions can be soooo frustrating! Especially the bad ones and middle ground, or even the good ones when you’re the only one feeling them in certain situations. I totally feel you there.

It’s good being able to start expressing and accepting them-that’s pretty difficult so GO YOU! :)

I found myself in the same situation just yesterday, thinking of writing a letter to someone I hurt and wondering if it will have the desired effect of healing old wounds, or if will just stir up old emotions and frustrations. You’re a brilliant writer Eli and I’m sure that you will find the words to say what you feel in your heart.

I find that’s what the “Save as Draft” button is best for.. I have a great many blogs I’ve written and saved, not sure if they’ll ever actually be posted… Too bad you can do that on Facebook-so much drama.

I don’t know you at all…I follow @a_n_woodward who follows @FindMimi and so on. I am SO grateful to have seen this. Your eloquence is refreshing. More people need to speak like this on this issue. Anyone of any sexual orientation should feel safe and whole in their belief system. If you don’t feel that, you should move on.

Religion is not a requirement, it is a decision, and you have made the right decision for you. Well done. You WILL have that family you dream of, and in that place you are going after this life, they will be there, proud and happy. Thank you for sharing. My day is brighter for having read this post.

Good for you for standing up for your beliefs. I cannot imagine God’s love not extending to every single person now and forever. The churches ignorance and lack of acceptance is infuriating.
I was raised as a Southern Baptist and the Baptists are just as close minded about sexual orientation as the Mormons. I believe religion is the problem. Toss the Religion and keep your spirituality. You don’t have to worship in a church.
