Who The Hell Is This?
My name is Eli Hulett and I’m a relatively normal person who leads a crazy life. Either by virtue of my own warped sense of humor and worldview or my own amazing spaz-tastic abilities there is never a dull moment. The funny thing is that I lead a generally very laid-back life but adventure never seems to be too far off.
I’m a single gay guy in my mid-twenties and an epic nerd. This nerdery is evidenced by my love of things like Doctor Who, a well balanced budget, and the fact that I am irritated by the number of times I use “I” on this page as it feels a little redundant.
I’m generally the first person in the room to laugh at anything (especially if it’s something serious or awkward) and I can say from personal experience that this is both a godsend and a curse. From personal experience I must warn you that cops do not like it when you start to giggle uncontrollably when they tell you you are not at fault for a fairly serious car accident. I can also tell you that funerals are so much better when you can find someone to pass the time with and laugh.
I live near downtown Salt Lake City and enjoy the closeness to the local cultural hub, while living out the American Dream in my first home of just over a year. Incidentally the American Dream is accompanied by the nightmare home ownership can sometimes be. I will be the first to say that I adore my home to the end of the earth, but it is probably the last home I will ever buy which is over a century old.
This site is the most recent in a long line of blogs and websites which I have made over the course of the last ten years. Since launching this site, I’ve been surprised with myself and how well I’ve been able to keep at my writing. Writing is a process which I love and I hope that you enjoy my writing as well.
